FOUNDER

Meredith is passionate about storytelling and journalism. She moved to the U.S. from Hong Kong in 2020 during the pandemic and understands the challenges immigrants face firsthand. Having experienced culture shock and the difficulty of making friends over Zoom, she eventually found a sense of belonging through a supportive community. Now, she hopes to give back by creating Roots and Routes.

DESIGN DIRECTOR

Bernice is passionate about art and dance. She moved to the U.S. from Hong Kong in 2023 as a freshman and has been adapting to the U.S. curriculum ever since. She has also joined various activities related to her passions and found a supportive community. Bernice is excited to work with Roots and Routes to help highlight youth immigration stories!

Julia is passionate about providing refugee and migrant youth with accessible resources specifically education and career opportunities.
